Transportation Changes

Any student who wishes to ride the bus with another student must have their parent/guardian call the school office and give permission.

Both student's parent/guardian must call. Once we have permission from both student's parent/guardian, we will give them a bus note signed by the principal. They must give this bus note to the bus driver or they will not be able to ride that bus.

If we do not get a call from both student's parent/guardian, they will need to continue with their normal transportation. We do not allow students to call home to get permission to ride another bus.

This must be planned ahead of time and the parent/guardian should call the school office before 2pm.

PowerSchool - Parent Portal

Parents: Last school year we sent home letters for you to be able to sign up for Parent Portal in PowerSchool. If you signed up, you will be able to view your student's information now through high school. If you did not receive a letter, or are locked out and forgot your password, please contact the school. You may call 354-1600 or email valerie.wilson@sullivank12.net

To access Parent Portal, please go to
www.sullivank12.net and click on the Parents tab, then click Parent Portal. You will be able to sign up or log in there.

Dear Parents,
Sullivan County Schools is excited to announce the continuance of School Messenger as a means of  communication by allowing us to deliver important information to you via SMS text messaging.  This service is not intended to replace our existing means of communication – rather, it will enhance them.
Information regarding this service can be found at www.SchoolMessenger.com/tm
Our school district and your respective school will only use the service to provide information that is timely and relevant.
In order to participate in the new service you must indicate your willingness to receive text messages to your phone.  The process is simple and only takes a few seconds to complete.
Simply text any one of the following words to the number 68453:  subscribe, optin, yes.
You’ll know you were successful if you receive the following reply message:
“You are registered to receive aprox 3 msgs/mo.  Txt STOP to quit, HELP for help.”
You’ll want to repeat the opt-in process for any wireless numbers that you wish to include.
In addition to performing the opt-in process above you’ll want to insure that the district has your wireless number(s) in our student information database.  If you haven’t already provided that information to your school please contact them and provide them with that information.
Please note, although our school district does not charge you for this service, it does not pay for text message charges that may be incurred by you for sending or receiving text messages.  Check with your wireless carrier for possible charges.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact your child’s school.
